My Sunday night routine

 My Sunday night routine

Happy Sunday! As much as I hate Sunday nights because I know I've got to get up early for work the next day, I try to make it as relaxing as possible and stick to a little routine.

I usually start this routine around 5-6pm after I've had my dinner and I'll have a shower and wash my hair. I'm trying to train my hair to not be washed every day, so I've been washing it twice a week. I always wash it on a Sunday night using my Monday shampoo and conditioner. This duo leaves my hair feeling so soft and smooth. My favourite shower gel always is LUSH's Snow Fairy shower gel.

Once I'm out the shower, I'll put on my pyjamas or my Ood and I'll leave my hair to dry naturally while I sit on the sofa and watch some TV and/or play some games, either on the Nintendo Switch or PS5. I'll chill with my hot water bottle, my blankets and a cup of tea. I'll usually do this until around 8-8:30pm after feeding my animals.

At 8-8:30pm I'll go upstairs and start getting ready for bed. To start, I'll brush my hair and use my Tresemmé Heat Protector spray. My straighteners are the Babyliss Rose Blush 235 Hair Straighteners and I recently got them and I'm loving them so far. It doesn't take me long to straighten my hair at all, before moving onto my skincare.

For my skincare I start by washing my face with my flannel and water. I use my September Skin Cleanser and my Betsy Johnson Electric Facial Brush. Once I wash the cleanser off, I'll use my The Ordinary Niacinamide 100% + Zinc 1% serum all over my face. Then I'll use my Skin Proud Sorbet Skin Moisturiser over that. I love these products together, they leave my skin feeling refreshed and smooth.

Once I've completed my skincare routine, I will spray my pillow with my Botanics Peaceful Night Pillow Mist in hope for a good nights sleep as it contains lavender. I always struggle to sleep on the first night after a weekend, knowing I have to get up at 6am the next morning.

Just before getting into bed, I will lay my clothes out for the morning as I hate getting up in the morning when it's dark and trying to find my stuff. My fiancé doesn't wake up until I've left, so I don't want to wake him up.

I get into bed, relax and read. I've almost finished reading It End's With Us by Colleen Hoover and I am hooked. I only started reading it on Wednesday. I'll lastly apply my The Body Shop Shea Lip Butter, drink some water and try to fall asleep. Usually by this point it's 9:30pm and I like to put everything down at 9:45-10pm to fall asleep.

Do you have a set routine for Sunday night?
